Marlee Archer | Owner/CEO

Marlee Archer is the founder and CEO of Digital Reveries Media. She is the powerhouse and digital strategist behind all things DRM.

 

Archer is also an independent filmmaker, with a passion for telling the stories of underrepresented communities and intersectional identities, and highlighting their strength, collective spirit, and determination to thrive despite circumstance. 

In her client-facing work, she employs the same cinematic, visionary approach to storytelling, connecting brands to their audiences via visually impactful media assets and poignant marketing strategy. 

Archer's films has been lauded and screened in more than 20 film festivals around the world — while her branding and marketing work and approach has been trusted by various industries and clients ranging from solopreneurs and small business owners, to major public universities and Fortune 500 companies. 

Marlee is the proud graduate of Savannah State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in English, after which she earned her master's in Communication and Media Studies from Georgia State University.

Jay Columbus | Creative consultant

James is a communications and media executive with more than 12 years of experience as a strategist in both corporate and nonprofit spaces. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in broadcast journalism and new media journalism from Howard University and Full Sail University respectively.

 

James' career in communications and journalism sparked a love for film production from the start, as his passion for telling intriguing stories has also been at the nucleus of his success.

 

After having produced short films as a producer for DRM, James makes his directorial debut with the feature-length documentary film "Can I Askew a Question" alongside Marlee Archer.

Quyana Barrow | Producer/Strategist

Quyana is a Jane of Many Trades. Her background as a communications training officer for one of the busiest 9-1-1 centers in Georgia, a community activist for women, labor and voting rights, and communications and community development manager for an interfaith nonprofit have contributed greatly to her insight and empathy as a digital storyteller.

 

She has been part of Hollywood productions and independent crews with equal enthusiasm and dedication. 

Q is a lead producer for videography and film projects for DRM, where she lends her skillful approach to managing production schedules, conceptualizing film projects and creating companion branding campaigns.

Dakota Whatley | IT and Web Development Consultant

Dakota Whatley specializes in information technology, offering expertise in tech support, website design, and business growth solutions.

 

He’s worked worked with Digital Reveries Media on numerous digital media and event marketing projects to grow the audience and supporter base for brands throughout North Georgia.

 

Whatley is the owner and founder of Whatley Technology Services.
