Site launch for San Diego's premier hair stylist Misty J

If you're searching for the true definition of a girl boss, look no further than San Diego-based hair stylist Misty Jackson. Owner of the salon People's Choice and widely sought after stylist in and around Southern California, Misty entrusted Digital Reveries Media to build a sleek, beautiful website for her celebrated brand and growing clientele.

Today, DRM is proud to launch www.itsmistyj.com, a stunning, minimalist design, multi-platform responsive site for Misty J's brand!

We caught up with Misty to talk about her goals for the site, her love for hair and the beautiful freedom of millennial entrepreneurship:

Marlee: What experience did you want to give your clients with your vision for the site design/style?

Misty J: I was trying to give them a professional place to view my work . I also wanted my clients and future clients to be able to contact me effectively.

Marlee: What is your inspiration behind your business? Why do you love hair?

Misty J: It's my passion. The salon I own is the salon I grew up in. Being able to continue with the legacy that my granny started means everything to me. Making her proud means everything. It's a plus that I actually enjoy being creative and love making people look/feel beautiful. :) The love for hair is just a part of me.

Marlee: How do you handle being your own boss? And what do you like most about being an entrepreneur?

Misty J: Do you want the answer that sounds good or the real one? Lol I'm all over the place; but when it comes to my business, I'm focused. I think that part of my life keeps me grounded. What I love most is that I can set my own schedule. There's nothing like having the freedom to do what you want when you want; and what I want to do is hair. So I do it all day. Lol

We were so honored that Misty gave us the opportunity to create something special to represent her work. She is definitely a DRM girl boss! Check out her website and her Instagram, @cali_mist, for all things amazing in hair.
